The ANSYS electromagnetic product suite contains both general purpose and application specific products to address a broad array of industry applications. These solutions allow you to accurately simulate electromagnetic fields when predicting the behaviour of electrical and electromechanical devices.
Two distinct application areas can be addressed:

For both areas, the ANSYS electromagnetics solutions enable you to gain an understanding of:
Device performance characteristics under applied excitations
Visualization of the electromagnetic field in and around a device
Joule heating effects and resultant temperatures
Force distribution and resulting deformation
Key design parameters: torque, force, resistance, inductance, capacitance, impedance, S parameters and radiated fields/emissions
