FTI CATIA (CAA) V5 Solutions - is a modular application CATIA V5 for analyzing the manufacturability of sheet metal forming parts and optimizing the cutting of metal tape. FTI CATIA (CAA) V5 Solutions is fully integrated into the CATIA V5 interface and consists of modules, united by a simple common interface and intended for designers, technologists and rationers.


The FTI CATIA (CAA) V5 Solutions modules allow:
- quickly calculate the sweep shape;
- to predict possible manufacturing problems: the formation of tears or folds, the retraction of the material;
- determine the final shape of the part taking into account the metal spring;
- analyze the geometry of the stamp and calculate the punching force;
- Optimize the cutting of blanks from the tape;
- Calculate the costs for each product.
