What's New in 2019:
This release introduces new features and enhancements that expand the capabilities, enhance solution accuracy, and reduce time to solution.
This release can be installed side-by-side with previous releases. You don't need to uninstall existing products on your computer.
The Autodesk Moldflow Synergy - User Interface and Autodesk Moldflow Insight - Solvers applications are licensed and installed separately. To complete the product installation, install both applications. Before you run the product for the first time, check you have installed, and can access, the Autodesk Network License Manager.
Network License Manager
Note: It is important that you review the corporate Installation documents before you install this product. Autodesk 2019 products include NLM version 11.14.1.3; all network license servers working with 2019 products must also run NLM version 11.14.1.3. The 2019 clients cannot get licenses from a server running NLM 11.13 or lower. However, older versions of Autodesk products will still work on NLM 11.14.
Read the Installation Administrator's Guide to obtain all the information you need to install and configure the Network License Manager.
Warning: The network license manager is installed into the directory C:\Autodesk\. During installation, the default path is written as C:\Program File\Autodesk, but the network license manager is always installed into the C:\Autodesk directory, even if you change the default location.
Simulation Job Manager
Moldflow 2019 ships with Simulation Job Manager (SJM) 7.1 which automatically installs with your Moldflow product.
With previous versions of SJM, a separate instance was installed for each user, where SJM 7.1 has only one instance per system regardless of how many separate users are on that system.
Multiple users
Where multiple operators use the same machine, the installation of 2019 Moldflow products might fail because Windows only allows the automatic removal of older versions of SJM for the logged-on user.
To rectify this situation, uninstall all versions of SJM, for all user profiles, and then install the Moldflow product.
Multiple versions of SJM Installing Simulation Job Manager 7 will patch existing versions of SJM. For an earlier version of Moldflow installed after Moldflow 2019:
Uninstall Simulation Job Manager 6.x.
Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features and uninstall Simulation Job Manager 6.x
Important: Do not uninstall Simulation Job Manager 7
Execute C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Simulation Job Manager
7\sjmClientPatcher.exe
A360 Desktop:
The A360 Desktop feature has been deprecated. As a result, A360 Desktop access has been removed from the icon tray.
